Mr. W.A. (Bill) Pollard of Crowley passed away Thursday July 5, 2012 in Ft. Worth. Private graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday at Oaklawn Cemetery in Cooper. Noel Bailey will officiate.
Mr. Pollard was born March 31, 1923 in Cooper. He was the son of W.A. Pollard and Ola Thompson Pollard. He was a Veteran of the United States Army Air Force in World War II, and was a retired carpenter.
Me married Bobby Jean Cross in 1950. She preceded in death in 2009. He had been a Crowley resident for the past forty three years.
He is survived by two daughters, Vicki Lyn Shults and husband Lyn of Crowley and Lisa Diane Hopkins and Gary of Grandbury, two sisters; Helen Ben Bair and Toby Moody, both of Cooper, three grandchildren; Justin Davis, Jenifer Patel, and Lindsey Borgerding, and by two great grandchildren; Emma and Madeleine Borderding.
