Andrea Marie Matthews

Andrea Marie Matthews, of Salado, Texas passed away on October 27, 2020.  She was born on February 26, 1965 in Austin, Texas to Antoinette Combs-Campion and Oscar Linnstaedter.

Andrea married Michael Thurman Matthews on March 13, 1993.  They have been together ever since and have been residents of Salado for many years.

Andera spent the last 25 years of her life happily working as a flight attendant for Southwest Airlines.  Andrea was a firecracker of energy, she had a smile that could light up a room and stories that would make you laugh for days.  Andrea loved traveling, working out, listening to Justin Bieber in the kitchen with her daughters, and making sure that everyone around her felt loved.  Andrea lived for her kids and husband and always expressed how proud she was of them.  Her husband, Michael, loves her with all of his heart and has loved her more and more ever since they met.

Andrea’s memory will be cherished by her 3 loving children, McLane, Abbey, and Addison; her husband, Michael; her granddaughter, Claire; her dogs, Doug and Jojo; her siblings, Tracy and Randy; her parents, Antoinette Combs-Campion and Oscar Linnstaedter, and Edward Combs.

Celebration of life for Andrea Matthews, 55, will be at 2:00 pm on November 5, 2020 at Tablerock Ampitheater with Scott Mescher officiating.

Graveside services will be on Saturday, November 7, at 2:00 pm at Oaklawn Cemetery in Cooper, Texas under the direction of Delta Funeral Home.
