Bart Peters died September 3rd, 2020.

Born a twin on June 23, 1958 in Dallas, Texas.  Bart and his twin brother were name after the 1950’s hit TV show The Maverick Brothers.  Bart grew up and lived in Dallas but spent summers in Copper with his grandparents.  Bart enlisted in the US Navy at the age of 17 and was honorably discharged after 9 years.  He then followed his fathers’ profession and became a Master Electrician.   Bart was a brother, father, grandfather, husband and friend who will be greatly missed by family and loved ones.

Bart was preceded in death by his father, Cy Peters, Grandparents Jolly and Lillian Peters, twin Brett Peters, sister Lynda Magill, and son Bart Roberson.    Bart is survived by his mother Mary Lou Peters, sister Rae Beth Fawks, Margie Lindley, Ruth Gavlick, and brother Glenn Peters.  Bart has 2 surviving daughters Samantha and Amber Rose, 5 grandsons, and a large extended family.

Graveside Memorial Service and  Celebration of Life will be held 11 am Saturday April 17,  at Charleston Cemetery.
