Bette Zane Upton 91 of Bossier City, Louisiana passed away March 31, 2022.
Bette was born June 1, 1930 in Tenaha, Texas to Atness Corder Sr. and Tommie “Hill” Corder. They have preceded her in death as well as 2 brothers, Atness Corder Jr. and John T. Corder, 3 sisters, Doris Price, Eleanor White and Patricia Corder.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Kandye Griffin and husband Jack and DD Cook and husband Larry both of Bossier City, La. Son, Mark Upton and wife Miriam of Tennessee, 8 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, Billie Patterson of Cooper, TX Jackie Trilica and husband Eddie of Floresville, TX sister-in-law John Ann Corder of Osage Beach MO and a host of nieces, nephews great and great great.
She was a faithful Christian and a member of the Church of Christ.
Graveside Memorial Services are scheduled for 1:30 pm Saturday May 21, 2022 at the Ramah Cemetery in Tenaha, TX. Mark Upton will officiate.
