Betty Jo Donaldson, 89, of McKinney, Texas passed away Tuesday January 30, 2024.

Graveside services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday February 2, 2024, at Lake Creek cemetery. Pastor Brenda Williams will officiate.

Betty Jo was born in Windom, Texas, November 15, 1934, to Vergil Roy and Lavanah Pauline (Carter) Laycock. They preceded her in death as well as her husband Don Barry Donaldson.

Jo was a member of the P.E.O, Junior Service League, and 1st United Methodist Church in Bartlesville, OK.

Survivors include her son Dale Donaldson and wife Tracy of Princeton, Texas; daughter Donis and husband Barefoot Bankhead of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren Barry and wife Jenny Donaldson, Taylor Marie and husband Ryan Nicholson, Erin Elizabeth, D.O. and husband Will Faules, Brooks Donaldson Bankhead and wife Krea, Benjamin Wallace Bankhead and wife Hannah; great-grandchildren Hoyt Nicholson, Jack Preston Nicholson and Briggs Joseph Bankhead; sister-in-law Kay Laycock; cousin Jerry Laycock and wife Jenny; and various nieces and a nephew.
