Betty Laurene France, 92, of Cooper, Texas passed away Monday, April 20, 2020.
Private family graveside services will be held at Oaklawn Cemetery in Cooper, Texas with the Reverend Johnny Witherspoon officiating.
Betty was born in Sherman, Texas on January 22, 1928 to Farmer and Dessa “Lovelady” Nelson. They have preceded her in death as well as her husband, Wylie Edgar France, Jr. and a daughter, Carole France. Betty and Wylie were married on December 31, 1950. She was a seamstress.
Survivors include her 2 sons: Wylie France III and wife, Cathy, of Tyler, Texas; Terry France and wife, Connie, of Cooper, Texas; 4 Grandchildren; 10 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild; 2 sisters, Louise Lamar of Richardson, Texas and Jean Kirk of McKinney, Texas.
Family requests memorials be made to First Baptist Church, 500 E. Dallas, Cooper, Texas or Delta County Public Library, 300 W. Dallas, Cooper, Texas.
