Bobby Lynn George, 79, of Cooper, Texas passed away Friday, June 26, 2026.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at the Delta Funeral Home Chapel, with Chad Gregg, officiating.  Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the services. Interment will follow at Lake Creek Cemetery, Lake Creek, Texas with Military Honors.

Bobby was born on June 10, 1947, in Paris, Texas to Toy Bishop and Winta Jo “Jody” George. He served his country and retired from the United States Navy as a Master Chief Petty Officer. He was State Commander for Amvets and a member of the American Legion.

He is survived by his daughter, Bonnie Jo Bowers and husband, John, of Blue Ridge, Texas; 2 grandchildren: Amber George and Justin Bowers and wife, Kendyl; 6 great grandchildren; Kaylence, Jarrytt, Riverlynn, Kennedy, Holden, and Kyleigh. 2 sisters: Bonny Cottingham and husband, Craig, of Carrollton, Texas and Becky Garrett and husband, Sam, of Irving, Texas.
