Brenda Joyce Stonecipher Pedersen passed away peacefully at her home in Cooper, Texas in the early morning of June 6, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Brenda was known for her tender-hearted kindness, her quiet strength, her deep devotion to family and friends, her endless cookie jar collection but most important her unwavering Christian belief.
Brenda had a special gift for making you feel welcome, valued and loved. Nothing brought Brenda more joy than caring for her two children, Rick and Holley, grandchildren, great grandchildren and her wonderful church family. Brenda leaves behind a beautiful legacy.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents Oliver and Ina Stonecipher, husband Richard Pedersen and daughter in law Sonyia Pedersen.
She is survived by her son and daughter Rick Pedersen (Judi) and Holley Young (Shaun)
Her siblings Donald (Linda), Johnny (Doris) and Sharon (Bobby)
Grandchildren: Casey Hill (Catie), Christyn Hill, Chase Pedersen (Joseph), Kolt Pedersen (Casey), Dylan Pedersen (Devin) and Simone Slaughter (Kyle)
Great grandchildren: Kamden, Avalie, Jayce Pedersen, Evie, Josie, Parker Hill, Lorrie Lee Pedersen and Faven, Stella, Nova Slaughter
Brenda was born on July 30, 1941, in Stratford, Oklahoma.
She will be laid to rest on Saturday June 13,2026.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday June 13, 2026, at The First Assembly of God in Cooper, Texas Brother Steve Helms will officiate, following with graveside service in Stratford Oklahoma in McGee cemetery at 3 p.m.
Family will welcome you on Friday June 12, 2026, at the Delta Funeral Home from 6p.m. to 8 p.m. for visitation.
Serving as pallbearers will be Casey Hill, Chase Pedersen, Kolt Pedersen, Dylan Pedersen, Aaron Moody, and Ross Moody.
