Mr. Charles Noel Allen, 87 years of age passed away Monday, October 23, 2012 at his home in Klondike.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, October 26 at the Delta Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Donnie Powers will officiate with interment following in the New Klondike Cemetery.
Mr. Allen was born May 28, 1925 in Delta County, the son of Alonzo Bill and Olivia Webb Allen. On January 18, 1949, he married Clydie Hooten. He was a farmer and rancher and a lifelong resident of Delta County.
He is survived by his wife Clydie of Klondike, a son Benny Allen of Commerce, daughter Judy Griffin of Klondike, three sisters; Ann Asimikas of Hurst, Billie Vick of Midland and Martha Hidle of Ft. Worth. He was survived by six grandchildren and their husbands & wives; Anthony and Amy Allen, Eric and Veronica Edwards, Shannon and Joseph Wilson, Jennifer and Shane Beers, Shelly and Burt Slaughter, and Julia and Sean Crouch, fifteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Delta Funeral Home.
