Cindee Lee Flanery

Cindee Lee Flanery, age 62 of Cooper, TX passed away Monday January 5, 2021 in Cooper, Texas.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Delta Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 am.

Cindee was born in Elmhurt, Illinois on July 27, 1958 to Carl and Arlene “Fox” Portner. She married Hubert Ray Flanery on May 16, 1987 in Stockton, Missouri.  Cindee was a homemaker, however was known as “Ma Flanery” to most and a Cooper Bulldog through and through. In her pastime, she enjoyed football games, BBQ competitions and won awards for her cooking. Cindee even worked as a volunteer fire fighter at one point.

Cindee is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 31 years Hubert Flanery, Daughter Joy Flanery and son Nicholas Shanahan.

Survivors include son, Kenneth Flanery; son, Timothy Flanery; daughter, Melody Rogers; son Joseph Flanery; son, James Shanahan; son, Josh Shanahan; Grandchildren; 2 brothers, Wade Portner and Todd Portner.
