Clyde Monroe Waters, 93, of Cooper, Texas, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2024.

Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at the New Hope Church Family Life Center in Cooper, Texas with Reverend Byron West officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 – 8 p.m. Monday, April 15, 2024, at Delta Funeral Home.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Chris West, Byron West, James West, Elijah West, Hannon West, Merritt West, and Derek d’Agrella.

Clyde was born in Cooper, Texas on November 30, 1930, to Clyde and Zettie “Glaspie” Waters. They precede him in death as well a brother, James Earl Waters.

Clyde was a Technical Writer and served his country in the United States Army Reserve where he attained the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He married Patricia Longfellow on March 2, 1957, in Wichita Falls, Texas. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Farm Bureau Board, Soil Conservation Board and New Hope Church.

Survivors include his wife, Pat Waters, of Cooper, Texas; daughter, Pamela West of Cooper, Texas; daughter, Nancy Waters of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin; seven grandchildren: Chris West, Byron West, Jessica DeLeo, James West, Derek d’Agrella, Brittni d’Agrella, and Elyse d’Agrella: six great grandchildren: Elijah West, Evie West, Nora West, Hannon West, Merritt West, and Jade DeLeo.
