Clydie Allen, 88, of Klondike, Texas, passed away Sunday, July 4, 2021.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 10 a.m.  Friday, July 9, 2021 at Delta Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bryce Jester officiating.  Interment will be in New Klondike cemetery. Family will receive friends and family from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, July 8,2021 at Delta Funeral Home Chapel.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Burt Slaughter, Shane Beers, Joseph Wilson, Tony Allen, Eric Edwards, Brad Phifer and Jeff Phifer.

Clydie was born in Klondike July 30, 1932 to Will and Eva “Nelson” Hooten. They have preceded her in death as well as her husband, Charles Allen, son-in-law James Griffin, Great grandson Zachery Jester.

Clydie and Charles were married January 18, 1949 in Hugo, OK. Clydie was a homemaker.

Survivors include son Benny Charles and Peggy Allen of Commerce, daughter Judy Griffin of Klondike. 6 grandchildren: Shannon and Joseph Wilson of Blossom Texas, Jennifer and Shane Beers of Windom Texas, Eric and Channing Edwards of Commerce Texas, Shelly and Burt Slaughter of Klondike Texas, Julia Griffin of Klondike Texas, Tony and Amy Allen of Maryville TN. 14 Great grandchildren, 10 Great-Great grandchildren, Numerous Nieces, Nephews, and extended family.
