Crawford Jacobs Sloan Jr., aged 73 of Cooper, Texas, passed away on Sunday September 7, 2025.


The Celebration of Life Gathering is scheduled for 11:00 am to 12:00 pm Friday September 26, 2025, at the Delta Funeral Home in Cooper.


Crawford was born in Fort Worth on April 10, 1952, to Crawford Jacobs and Dora Lou (Greer) Sloan. They preceded him in death, as well as his wife Jane Diane (Farnham) Sloan.


Crawford retired from a career as a medical doctor, was a lifetime member of the NRA, and was an avid fisherman. He loved to build things, listen to music, and help people.


He is survived by his sister Lisa (Sloan) Rowett and her husband Charles of Bandera, Texas, his nephew and godson Charles Scott Rowett, his niece Shanna Sullivan, and his nephew Jeff Ashby.


In Crawford’s memory, you are encouraged to wear overalls, if you have them.
