David Lynn Blevins, 74 of Kemp, Texas passed away Saturday August 9, 2025.
Graveside Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday August 30, 2025, at Oaklawn Cemetery, Bryce Jester will officiate.
David was born in Cooper, Texas on November 11, 1950, to Henry Dale and Dorothy (Kesler) Blevins. They preceded him in death as well as a brother, Jerry Dale Blevins and his wife Patsy.
David retired from the Texas Department of Corrections as a Prison Guard.
Survivors include his son: Chris Thayer of Kemp, Texas daughters: Cynthia Blackwood of Duncombe, Iowa, and Melissa Porter of Irving, Texas, and four grandchildren.
