David Edward Wallace of Ladonia passed away Friday, November 30, 2012 at the Veterans Medical Center in Bonham.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday at the First United Methodist Church in Ladonia. Rev. Michael Rowe will officiate.
Mr. Wallace was born July 8, 1948 in Paris, Texas. He was the son of John and Velma Wallace. He was a VietnamVeteran serving in the United States Army from 1968 until 1971. He was the water operator for the city of Ladonia and had served as the Assistant Chief of the Ladonia Volunteer Fire Department.
Survivors are his two sons; Daniel Wallace of Tennessee and James Edward Wallace of Dallas, Georgia, brothers; Johnny Wallace, Jerry Patterson,and Richard Wallace, all of Paris and sisters; Dorothy Patterson of Paris, Nancy Williams of Powderly and a half sister Barbara Wallace of Arkansas. He was survived by Six grandchildren.
