Mrs. Dolores Jarrell, former resident of Cooper passed away Sunday, September 9, 2012 in Haltom City, Texas.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Thursday morning, September 13 at the Delta Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Richard Jarrell, Rev. Sammy Porter and Rev. Edgar Clements will officiate. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday at the Dallas Ft. Worth National Cemetery.
Mrs Jarrell was born April 21, 1937 in Oscoda, Michigan. She was the daughter of Alton Abbott and Alice (Rollin) Abbott. She married Mr. Frank Jarrell July 1, 1958. He preceded her in death September 24, 2006. She had lived in Cooper until moving to Keller in 2010. She was a member of the Park Glen Baptist Church in Ft. Worth. Prior to leaving Cooper she was a member of Faith Baptist Church and was a faithful supporter of many local ministries. She was a member of the Red Hat Society.
Survivors are; two sons; James Alton Jarrell and wife Sheila of Prescott, Arizona, Richard Franklin Jarrell & wife Debbie of Roanoke, Virginia, a daughter Tammy Mason and husband Larry of North Richland Hills; three brothers Lloyd Abbott, Maynard Abbott, and Richard Abbott. She was survived by six grandchildren; Maida Furnia & husband Matthew, Heather Craft and husband Jason, Candace Floyd, Rachel Mason, Garrett Mason, & Lauren Mason and two great grandchildren; Amelia Floyd and Micah Craft. She was also survived by a great number of extended family in the local area. She was preceded in death by a grandson James Cole Jarrell.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 12 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Delta Funeral Home.
