Doris Lee (Toon) Alley

Funeral services for Doris Lee (Toon) Alley age, 95 of Cooper, Texas will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at the First
Baptist Church of Cooper with Rev. Richard Tatum officiating.  Burial will follow at the Liberty Grove Cemetery with Cade Alley, Joseph Calvin Priest, Wade Thompson, Kyle Wayne Thompson, Blake Hohenberger, Trevor Zaunbrecher and Joshua Baggett serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at the Delta Funeral Home. 

Mrs. Alley died Monday evening on November 25, 2019 in Paris, Texas she was born August 27, 1924 the daughter of Lee Elbert Toon and Bernice Scott Toon.  She married Elwood Wright in 1942 and he preceded her in death in World War II.  She later married Wendell Alley who preceded her in death in 1999. 

Mrs. Alley was homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church Cooper. 

She is survived by her sons; Ted Alley and Lyn of Cooper, Texas and Kevin Alley and Virginia of Azle, Texas; daughters; Linda Preas and Jody, Becky Alley, and Sheila Cherry and Jeter all of Cooper, Texas.  Twenty-five grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents one son Denis Alley, three brothers J.W. Toon. Denis (Pete) Toon and Charles Toon.
