Mr. Earl Elmore, former Delta County resident passed away Monday evening, December 17, 2012 in Paris. Graveside services for Mr. Elmore will be held at 4:00 PM Wednesday at the East Delta Cemetery with Rev. Mike Stone officiating.
Mr. Elmore was born June 2, 1913 in Delta County. He was the son of Alvin Elmore and Martha Mineola (Rhine) Elmore. He served in the United States Army during World War II. He married Maybelle Council January 5, 1933. She preceded him in death July 11, 1985.
He is survived by a sister in law; Floy Elmore and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Elmore was also preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
