Mr. Earl Harvey Thomas of Klondike passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012 in Sulphur Springs. A service of celebration will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 29 at the New Beginnings Fellowship Baptist Church in Sulphur Springs.
Mr. Thomas was born August 20, 1926 in Sedalia, Missouri. He was the son of Lester B. Thomas and Dessie Mae Cole Thomas. He served in the United States Marines during World War II. He married Maggie West on August 30, 1947. He served his career working as a commercial artist. He had been a resident of Klondike since 1977.
He is survived by his wife, Maggie, a son, Mike Thomas and his wife Lena of Mesquite, a son in law, Randy Harrison, a sister Nancy Kammerlohr of Paris, Grandchildren; Brandy Kay Thomas of Carrollton, Tim Thomas and his wife Emily of Garland and great grandchildren Harrison Courage, Violet Mercy, and Margaret Hope of Garland.
Earl was preceded in death by his daughter; Harrison.
Interment was Monday, December 24 in the Shiloh Cemetery.
