Mrs. Edith Stella (Anglin) Wood Millard, 98 years of age of Cooper passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2012 in Cooper.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 5 at the Delta Funeral Home Chapel. Noel Bailey will officiate with interment following in Oakllawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Millard was born near Cooper in Delta County April 9, 1914. She was the daughter of Herbert Houston Anglin and Julia Alice Fletcher Anglin. She had lived in Delta County since 1981 and was a member of the Cooper Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Cecil Dawson Wood on January 25, 1981 and Virgil Millard September 30, 1996.
Survivors: Sons: Charles Robert Wood and Lee Carlton Wood, both of Lake Seymour, Texas and a daughter Margaret McGuire of Pecan Gap, sisters Martha Carolyn Hawkins of Grand Prairie and Mary Celine Heath of Savoy, seven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Funeral Home.
