Edna "Jan" (Fink) Flener

Edna "Jan" Flener, 75, of Rockwall, TX, passed away on November 23, 2023, with her beloved daughters by her side. Jan was born to Ed and Johnnie Fink on November 27, 1947, in Ladonia, TX where she later graduated from Fannindel High School. Jan was an avid sports fan and lifetime Dallas Cowboys fan but if you knew her at all, you know her favorite pastime was watching her grandsons play football and soccer and telling others about them. She also had a green thumb like no other and we know she is helping Jesus in the gardens now.  

She is survived by daughters: Jaclyn Watkins and Nancy Batten Ray both of Rockwall, TX. She also leaves behind her two wonderful son-in-laws, Phillip Watkins, and Joey Ray who she both made promise in her final days they would take care of her girls and her pride and joy and apples of her eyes, her grandsons: Luke and Gabe Watkins and 3 new granddaughters - Riley, Payton and Camryn Ray. Besides her children and grandchildren, she is also survived by her loving sisters and best friends, Tricia Sandy and Barbara Roderick and brother-in-law, John Roderick as well as many loved nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Judy Adams and brother-in-law, Richard Adams.

Visitation will be held from 12pm to 1pm on Tuesday, November 28 at Oak Ridge Church of Christ, 10368 FM1550, Ladonia, TX 75449 followed by graveside service at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
