Elizabeth Ann (Hannabas) Thompson

Elizabeth Ann Thompson, age 83, of Sachse, Texas, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 16, 2025.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 10, 2025, in the chapel at Delta Funeral Home.

Elizabeth was born on November 19, 1941, to Oscar Clinton and Jennie Mae “Basham” Hannabas. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents and her husband, Thomas Monroe Thompson.

Elizabeth, known affectionately as Liz, dedicated her life to family, friendship, and service. She found deep purpose in helping others and was a source of strength and compassion to all who knew her. In her retirement, she spent 15 years working with The Senior Source, where she tirelessly advocated for and supported seniors in the community.

She is survived by her four daughters: Regina, Melissa, Melinda, and Beth; nine grandchildren: Jessica, Jennifer, Casey, Brandon, Katie, Morgan, Reagan, Jocelyn, and Travis; and seven great-grandchildren.
