Eva Pauline McKinney Greenwood

July 7, 1927 – March 26, 2022

Eva Pauline McKinney Greenwood, was born July 7, 1927 in Kensing, Texas, in Delta County and passed away on March 26, 2022, at the age of 94.

Funeral services will be at the Evergreen Cemetery Pavilion on March 28, 2022 at 4:00 pm.

Family will receive friends from 1 hour prior to the service at the Evergreen Cemetery Pavilion.
Pauline graduated from East Delta High School in 1945.  She was the class Treasurer her Junior and Senior year as well as working on the Annual.  Pauline also enjoyed sports and was on the Volleyball team and played Softball.  After graduation she moved to Dallas and went to work for Curtiss Candy Company and worked there through 1948.

In 1949 Pauline met and married T W Greenwood.  They owned a Dairy and milked cows for 20 years.  T W also had a gravel business and they also owned a ranch where they raised Simmental and Hereford cows.

After closing the dairy, Pauline went to work for Campbell Soup where she received numerous awards and commendations.  She retired from Campbell Soup after 27 years. 

Pauline loved flowers and had an Iris garden that gave many great joy to visit each year. Pauline also loved to travel and went on many vacations with her sister Freda and niece Sharron and David Nabors.

She was preceded in death by her husband T W Greenwood, daughter Brenda Lorene Greenwood, parents Delta McKinney and Alice Jewel Jopes McKinney, and three of her sisters, Eunice Imogene Gross Love, Sybele Joyce Graves and Margaret Frances Woodard.

Survivors include her sister, Delphia Freda Smart, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who will miss her.

Pallbearers are:  Jack Nabors, Tommy Hinton, Sharron Nabors, Timothy Nabors, DJ Nabors and Seth Williams.
