Funeral Mass for Faith Elaine Alvarez will be held at 2:30 PM Saturday, January 16, 2021 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Commerce with Monsignor Leon Buesmann officiating. 

Burial will follow at the CenterPoint Cemetery in Fannin County with Doug McKinney, Wesley Rodgers, Cody Alvarez, Garrett McKinney, Kyle McKinney and Michael Richardson serving as pallbearers. 

Mrs. Alvarez died Wednesday, January 13, 2021 in Greenville, TX she was born in Mississippi on August 2, 1940 the daughter of William and Lila Taylor.

She married Louis Alvarez on August 31, 1961 in Wichita Falls, TX and he survives.

Mrs. Alvarez was an Administrative assistant with IBM for over seventeen years.  She was faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic church where she taught CCD Sunday School classes.  Most of all she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband Louis Alvarez of Ladonia, son Louis Alvarez, Jr. and wife Mandi of Norman, Ok daughters; Donna Alvarez of Sherman, Deborah McKinney and husband Douglas of Ladonia, Jennifer Rodgers and husband Wesley of Lewisville.  Grandchildren Lindsey Crawford, Taylor McKinney, Kyle McKinney. Michael Richardson, Cody Alvarez, Garrett McKinney, Amanda Bridges.  Nine great grandchildren.  Brother William Taylor and sisters; Shirley Taylor and Kathy Taylor.  Preceded in death by her parents and son Justin Taylor.
