Mrs. Freida Jeanette Bethea, 76 years of age of Sulphur Springs passed away Wednesday April 25, 2012 in Mt. Pleasant.
Funeral services for Mrs Bethea will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at the Delta Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jim Barksdale and Rev. Buddy Barnett will officiate with interment following in the IOOF Cemetery in Caddo Mills, Texas.
Mrs. Bethea was born in Hunt County, Texas September 2, 1935. She was the daughter of William Preston Frazier and Vera Mae Carter Frazier. She was a Homemaker and a medication aide for many years. She had been a resident of Sulphur Springs since 1973. She was a member of the Enloe Baptist Church where her husband was pastor for many years.
She married Mr. Charles W. Bethea June 26, 1953. He preceded her in death October 13, 2004.
Survivors are her son Richard Bethea of Bridge City, Texas, two daughters, Janis McClure of Pickton and Rebecca Gierling of Crete, Illinois and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers; Wayne, Eddie, Jack,Bobby and J.P. Frazier and sisters Margaret, and Sandra.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Delta Funeral Home.
