Gladys Florine Burnett Obituary

Gladys Florine Burnett, 90, of Cooper, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2013 in Paris.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 30 in the Delta Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Johnny Witherspoon officiating.  Interment will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Burnett was born in Mt. Joy on December 5, 1922, the daughter of Dewey Duncan and Lela Francis Cooper Duncan.  She married Willie Amon Burnett on June 7, 1941 and he preceded her in death on January 18, 1975.  She was a retired Bookkeeper for the Rexall Drug Company and was a longtime resident of Delta County.  She was also preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Noel Duncan, a grandson, Brian Patrick Beyer, and a great grandson, Dillan Beyer.
She is survived by a son David Burnett and wife Dana of Lake Creek, a daughter Floretta Beyer and husband Glenn of Amarillo, a brother Basil Duncan of San Diego, CA, two grandchildren Tracy Wayne Beyer and Kristin Nicole Burnett, and five great grandsons Trevor Beyer, Dennis Beyer, Nathan Beyer, Skylar Beyer, and Spencer Beyer.
