Helen Louise Gaddy (Smith) 81, of Cooper, Texas passed away Wednesday March 15, 2023.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 11a.m. Saturday March 18,2023 at Grace Worship, United Pentecostal Church Reverend Michael Stone, and Reverend Jacob Kelso will officiate, with interment to follow at Oaklawn cemetery. Family will receive friend and family one hour prior to service from 10-11 a.m. Saturday March 18,2023 at Grace Worship, United Pentecostal Church.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Paul Kelso, Jacob Kelso, Tye Kelso, Sam Stewart, Danny Beard, Carson Beard, Honorary Pallbearers will be Alec Gaddy, Robert Gaddy, Danny Gaddy Jr.

Helen was born in Cooper, Texas November 29, 1941, to Walter and Margie (Kimbrell) Smith. They preceded her in death as well as sisters Geneva Smith, Rachelle Smith, Bonnie Smith, Shirley Smith, brothers, Walter Dale Smith, Willie Dale Smith, Chester Edward Smith, Ronnie Dean Smith, nephew Ronnie Dale Smith.    

Helen was a god loving daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother she loved reading from the Bible spending time with family and her church family, she was a member of Grace Worship church.

Survivors include her children Danny Ray Gaddy and wife Callie of Chicota, Texas, Douglas Guy Gaddy and wife Susie of Lufkin, Texas, Roxanne Kelso and husband Paul of Cooper, Texas, Scott Gaddy and wife Jennifer of Powderly, Texas, seventeen grandchildren, forty-one great-grandchildren, sixteen great-great grandchildren, brother Walter Smith, Jr., and sister-in-law Wilma Smith, numerous nieces, and nephews, and adopted daughter Inez Julian of Cooper, Texas.
