Jacky Ray Woodall

Age 71, passed away at home peacefully Tuesday April 20, 2021 with his wife Judy, by his side. Jacky was born to Harvey and Willie Etah “Lancaster” Woodall on October 26, 1949 in Cooper, TX. After graduating from Cooper High School in 1968, Jacky joined the United States Air Force on February 3, 1969 where he served until 1973. After the Air Force he continued his service with the National Guard.

After serving his country, Jacky worked as an electronic technician and was a telecommunication system specialist for Western Union in Dallas, TX.

On November 7, 1974 he married Judy Sloan in Dallas, TX. After retiring from Western Union in 1976 Jacky and Judy and their son Herman Ray moved to Klondike, TX.

Jacky loved hunting, camping, fishing, and being with his family. He always had a beautiful garden, and could fry the best fish. His hobbies included playing the harmonica, woodworking, and studying history.

Jacky was preceded in death by his parents as well as his brothers, Coy and Tommy.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Judy Woodall of Klondike, Texas; sons, Herman Woodall and wife, Jennifer of Caddo Mills, Texas, Michael Woodall and wife, Casey of Sulphur Springs, Texas, Randall Woodall and wife, Erica of Lewisville, Texas.  6 Grandchildren:   Brandon Woodall, Jacob Woodall, Regan Woodall, Macie Woodall, Landry Woodall, Hooper Woodall. Brothers, Dick Woodall, Jimmy Woodall, Jerry Woodall; sisters, Barbara Clements, Sara Kesler, Ella Petty and Judy Brumley.

Services entrusted to Delta Funeral Home.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Delta Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 pm.  Memorial Service will be on Friday, April 23, 2021 at Cooper First Baptist Church at 4:00 pm with Levi Barcus will be officiating.
