James Edward Bradshaw 83, of Charleston, Texas, passed away on Friday June 6, 2025.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday June 10, 2025, at the Delta Funeral Home in Cooper, Texas. Reverend Jake Vaughn will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Interment will follow at East Delta Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert Card, Ronnie Green, Kyle Worden, Mitchell Green, Daryl Blakley, John Barker, and Clay Ingram.

James (Jim) was born in Mansfield Pennsylvania April 1, 1942, to Edward and Beatrice (Smith) Bradshaw. They preceded him in death.

James grew up in Pennsylvania and excelled as a businessman early in life. He spent many years working with UPS and in corporate management for the McDonalds Corporation. He later moved into construction work and eventually worked with the pipeline. This work led him to meet the love of his life, Betty, while working in Texas during the early 2000s. They were married on January 14, 2006, and he moved to Charleston, Texas to live out his remaining years. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed ranching and farming. He was full of faith, and an active member of East Delta Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife: Betty Bradshaw of Charleston, Texas, daughters: Julie Card and husband Robert of Port Charlotte, Florida, Lisa Bradshaw of Ft. Meyers Florida, step-sons: Ronnie Green and wife Amy of Cooper, Texas, Kyle Worden and wife Shaunna of Cooper, Texas, Seven grandchildren: Kristina Mazlaghani, Kimberly Nicolae, Mitchell Green, Macy Knickerbocker, Kameron Worden, Kathryn Worden, Kannon Worden, and six great grandchildren.
