Jane Diane (Farnham) Benefield Sloan, 79 of Cooper, Texas passed away Monday June 9, 2025.

Memorial Services are scheduled to take place on Friday June 27, 2025, at Pecan Gap United Methodist Church at 11 A.M. Pastor Edward Lee will officiate the ceremony.

Jane was born in Binghamton, New York on October 1, 1945, to David and Veda (Powell) Farnham. Her parents preceded her in death, as well as her son, Bart Benefield.

Jane was a Registered Nurse for 45 years at St. Joseph Hospital in Paris, Texas. She was a member of Pecan Gap Methodist Church, and loved to garden, bird watch, and take care of her cats.

She is survived by her husband Crawford Sloan, her sisters Judy Frazier and Trudy Vernon, her brother Alan Farnham, her sister-in-law Lisa (Sloan) Rowett and her husband Charles Rowett, her nephew and godson Scott Rowett, and her best friend of 25 years Nan Beeler.
