Janie Gwendola Beeler 86, of Pecan Gap passed away Monday April 8, 2024.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Saturday April 13, 2024, at First Baptist Church in Pecan Gap, Texas. Brother Cary Kinnaird and Reverand Ray Godfrey will officiate, interment will follow at Pecan Gap Cemetery. Family will receive friends and guests from 12:00 – 1:30 p.m. prior to services.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Stan Smith, Steve Cunningham, Guy Pruitt, Darron Cheney, Lee Smith Jr., Joe Pease. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jeff Spencer, Lyndol Erwin, and Mark Conley.

Gwen was born in Tiger town, Texas on April 6, 1938, to Harvie Franklin and Dortha Louise (Lile) Brown. They preceded her in death as well as a son, James Reel, a granddaughter, Jamie Reel, and brother Harvie Eugene Brown.    

Gwen retired as a Payroll Clerk at Raytheon, was a member of First Baptist Church in Pecan Gap, and was a member of the Fannindel ISD Board of Trustees for Twenty-Seven years.

Survivors include her sons Ricky Beeler of Pecan Gap, Texas, Jody Beeler and wife Diana of Cooper, Texas, Charlie Reel and wife Janna of Paris, Texas, Carl Reel and wife Lisa of Ladonia, Texas, nine grandchildren Jacob Beeler, Jordan Toon, Suzanne George, Analisa Blaine, L.T. Worley, Tara Sweat, Tori Reel, Brittany Hunter, Chelsey Tippit and numerous great- grandchildren, two nieces Jackie Brown, and Cissy Brown.
