Mrs. Jean Ann Erwin of Pecan Gap passed away Friday, December 17, 2021, in Greenville.

Funeral service is to be held at the Delta Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday December 21, 2021, at 2 p.m. visitation 1 hour prior to service. Rev. Ronnie Hickey and Rev. Wayne Miller will officiate. Interment will follow in the Pecan Gap Cemetery.

Mrs. Erwin was born September 28, 1932, in Pecan Gap.  She was the daughter of Robert Weldon Briscoe and Beulah Crawford Briscoe.  On January 5, 1952, she married W. H. (Dutch) Erwin.  She was a lifelong resident of Pecan Gap, a homemaker, an elementary school teacher, and a member of the Friendship Baptist Church of Pecan Gap.

Survivors are one daughter, Carol Dockray of Sumner, three sons; Weldon Erwin of Pecan Gap, Lyndol Erwin of Greenville, and Joe Erwin of Pecan Gap, a brother-in-law Jim Morgan of Burkburnett, Texas., and nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and an infant daughter, Caren Joyce Erwin.
