Jennifer Lynn ‘Steward’ Weatheread 45, of Sulphur Springs passed away April 2, 2026.

Memorial Services are scheduled for 3p.m. Saturday April 18, 2026, at the North Hopkins High School Gymnasium.  1994 W. FM 71, Sulphur Springs, TX 75482.

Jennifer was born in Paris, Texas, on May 20, 1980, to Charlie and Cynthia (Mason) Steward.

Jennifer married Daniel Weatheread July 24, 1999, in Klondike, Texas. She was an RN for many years, then left her career to be a stay-at-home mom so she could be present for everything her children did. She loved watching sports, and was always in the stands yelling, supporting those she loved. Jennifer loved North Hopkins Little Dribblers and served as a coach and commissioner for 14 years with the last 5 as League Commissioner, continuing after her own children were no longer involved. She loved the outdoors and spending time with her family. She was a master fisherman, a wonderful gardener, she loved swimming and will be remembered for the army's worth of world class meals she cooked for everyone around her, blessing them with her beautiful smile and incomparable generosity. She loved fiercely; she was full of fire that was fueled by her love of her children, her husband, and her family.

Jennifer is survived by her beloved husband, Daniel, and her precious children, Liberty, Brody, and Charley Weatheread of Sulphur Springs.  Her parents, Charlie and Cynthia Steward of Cooper, her three brothers, Josh and Stephanie Steward of Cooper, Jeremy Steward of Caddo Mills and Justin and Amber Steward of Diana. In addition, her in-laws Jan and Danny Ballard, Kimberly, and Michael McPherson all of Sulphur Springs, and numerous nieces and nephews.
