Mr. Jerry Eugene Hicks of Cooper passed away Thursday, December 13, 2012 in Cooper.
Memorial services will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, December 15 at the First Assembly of God Church in Cooper. Rev. Rick Richardson will officiate. Military honors will follow the service.
Mr. Hicks was born June 15 1934 in Dallas.He  served in the United States Marine Corps for over twenty years, retiring in 1979.In March of 1955 he married Patsy Jane White who preceded him in death after 25 years of marriage. In 1986 he married Willie Dee Stout who preceded him in death August 18, 2011. He had been a resident of Cooper for the past five years.
Survivors include a son; Jerry Eugene Hicks Jr. of Cooper, three daughters; Cheryl Chitwood of Grapevine, Terri Reed of Cooper, and Carrie Paulos of Irving, ten grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior  Project.
