Jimmy Sweat, 62, of Klondike, Texas passed away Tuesday May 7, 2024.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday May 13, 2024, at Three Rusty Nails Church, Mark Brantley will officiate, with interment to follow at New Klondike Cemetery. Family will receive friends and family one hour prior to services from 1-2 p.m.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Trevor Mobley, Billie Mayberry, Branch Warren, Hunter Preas, Jr. Sweat, Chase Sweat. Honorary Pallbearers will be Damon Williams, Brandon Sweat, Jeremy Sweat, and Dustin Moore.

Jimmy was born in Cooper, Texas on April 20, 1962, to Charles and Peggy (Tidwell) Sweat. They preceded him in death as well as his sister Janice Williams.

Jimmy married Lucille Billman on March 27, 1991, in Cooper, Texas, he was County Commissioner PCT 2, December 27th Delta County declared Jimmy Sweat DAY!!

Survivors include his wife Lucy Sweat of Klondike, Texas, daughters: Amy and Hunter Preas of Kensing, Texas, Patricia and Branch Warren of Prosper, Texas, son Billie and Pauleen Mayberry of Conroe, Texas, five grandchildren Trevor Mobley, Faith Warren, Morgan Warren, Levi Mayberry, Ty Mayberry, two great grandchildren Knox Mobley, Gatlin Mobley, brothers: Roger and Jodi Sweat of Klondike, Texas, Randy and Tina Sweat of Brookston, Texas, sister Julie and Jerry Vandergriff.
