Obituary
Joseph Andrew Lien 68, of Cooper, Texas passed away Wednesday January 18, 2023.
Graveside services are scheduled for Saturday, January 21, 2023, at East Delta Cemetery at 2: 00 p.m. with Lyn Dennis officiating, Visitation Saturday, January 21, 2023, at East Delta Baptist Church from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Ray Clark, Ethan Hinsley, Casey LaRue, Jeffrey Preas, Michael Worden, Cody LaRue
Joseph lived in Delta County for 41 years, He was a Truck driver for Central Freight, he retired December 2021.
Joseph was born in Quantico, Virginia July 14, 1954, to Eugene Marion and Velma Lorraine (Scott) Lien. They preceded him in death as well as his sister Kay Smoyer.
Survivors include his wife of forty years Tina (Goforth) Lien of Lake Creek, Texas, daughter, Jamie and husband Sheldon Dawes, son, Jordan and wife Chelsie Lien; granddaughters, Bailee Dawes, Chesney Dawes, Adley Gaytan, Millie Jo Lien; sister Lorraine and husband, Darrell Carter; brother, Curtis Lien, Mother- in – law, Norma Goforth; Father- in- law, Mickey Goforth; Brother-in-law Donny Goforth, numerous nieces and nephews.
Family requests memorials be made to the Charleston United Methodist Church or the East Delta Community Center.
