Josephine Elaine Morris of Cooper, Texas. Just 75 years old gained her wings unexpectedly on December 6, 2024.

Celebration of Life is scheduled for 1 p.m. Sunday January 26, 2025, at Crimson River Cowboy Church.

The family is deeply saddened by her sudden passing.

She was born on January 24, 1949, to “Bill” William and Ruby “Davis” Chambers in Irving, Texas.

She lived in Garland, Texas, for 15 years and then moved to Cooper, Texas for the last seventeen plus years.

She worked at Keller’s as a car hop for 18 years then became a CNA for 35 plus years retiring in 2003 from the Sulphur Springs Hospital.

She was a member of the Crimson River Cowboy Church in Cooper, Texas, and loved caring for people, crocheting, and sharing the Love of the Lord.  

She is survived by her daughter, LaWanda Loper Wood and husband Eddie Wayne Wood Sr.  Eight grandchildren; Ashley Wright and Michael Carlow of Reilly Springs, TX. Cory Wright of Reilly Springs, TX. Eddie Jr. (Littlebit) and Tersa Wood of Sulphur Springs, TX. Steven (Woody) and LeAnn Wood of Sulphur Springs, TX. Stanley Paul Wood of Sulphur Springs, TX. Justin and Ashley Wood of Quitman, TX. Johathon Wood of Sulphur Springs, TX. Jaccob Wood and Tori Owsley of Sulphur Springs, TX. Forty – Three great grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren.
