Joyce Nichols, 68, of Pecan Gap, Texas, passed away Tuesday October 17, 2023.

 Family will receive friends and family from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Thursday October 19, 2023, at First Baptist Church in Pecan Gap, Texas.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 19, 2023, at First Baptist Church in Pecan Gap, Texas. Brother Dillon Moore will officiate, with interment to follow at Pecan Gap Cemetery.

Serving as Pallbearers will be David Nichols, Matt Nichols, Lee Nichols, Joe DeFratus, Sam Pickard, Jed Pickard, Ben Nabers, and Michael Ross.

Joyce Nichols was born in Commerce, Texas, on November 2, 1954, to Dewey and Frances Nichols.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Jimmy and Neal and niece Sandy and two brothers- in-law.

She is survived by brother Danny and wife Andee of Dorchester, sister Molly and husband Ted Jones of Canton, sister Peggy and husband Doc Browning of Rising Star, sister Betty DeFratus of Pottsboro, sister Bonny and husband Mike Ross of Pecan Gap. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and a large loving extended family.

Joyce graduated from Fannindel High School in 1973. She was a long-time member of First Baptist Church in Pecan Gap.
