Kathy Ann Pressley

Kathy Ann Pressley, 66, of Cooper, Texas passed away Thursday, May 14, 2020.

Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 18, 2020 at Oaklawn Cemetery in Cooper, Texas with Reverend Lyn Dennis officiating.

Pallbearers will be Ken James, Shane Ingram, John Jackson, Ned Borger, Matt Ingram and Jason Ingram.

Kathy was born in Dallas, Texas on January 16, 1954 to Cloyce and Helen “Viser” Anderson. They have preceded her in death as well as two daughters, Kristy Hays and Amy James. Kathy married Larry Pressley on March 11, 1983 in Rockwall, Texas. She was an Executive Secretary working for Texas Power and Light  and a Vet Assistant for many years. She was a member of the Charleston United Methodist Church, involved in Animal Rescue and was well known as “the Butterfly Lady”.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Pressley of Cooper, Texas; daughter, Kelly Merritt and husband, Jerry, of Waco, Texas; two grandsons: Troy Sutton Love and Brandon Harlan and brother, Larry Wayne Anderson and wife, Marti, of Rowlett, Texas.
