Kenneth Ray Wicks

Kenneth “Ray” Wicks, 86, of Klondike, Texas, passed away Thursday March 2, 2023.

Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Monday March 6, 2023, at East Delta Cemetery, Colton Wicks will officiate, Family will receive friends and family from 5-7 p.m. Sunday March 5, 2023, at Delta Funeral Home.

Ray was born in Amy, Texas October 6, 1936, to Kenneth Dale and Nellie Lucille (Brewer) Wicks. They preceded him in death as well as his wife Mary Ann (McCormack), brothers, Gerald Wicks and wife Patsy, Brian Wicks and wife Sandra, Dan Wicks, sisters, Sheree Weems and husband Harrol, and Judy Ryan and husband Jack.

Ray worked for Braum’s for many years as an appliance Repair man.

Survivors include daughters Terri Rice and husband Scott of Gilmer, Texas, Charlotte Kirwin and husband Greg of Round Rock, Texas, four grandchildren Matthew Rice and wife Kristiana of San Marcus, Texas, Samuel Kirwin of Georgetown, Texas, Joshua Kirwin of Dallas, Texas, Daniel Kirwin of Round Rock, Texas, and sister Sue Wright and husband Robert of Klondike, Texas, sister-in-law Ladda Wicks of Thailand, and Numerous nieces and nephews.
