Kenneth Dale Willingham 72, of Cooper, Texas passed away Wednesday January 8, 2025.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday January 14, 2025, at Calvary Baptist Church. Brother Kevin Young will officiate.    Family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Monday January 13, 2025, at Delta Funeral Home.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Doyle Willingham, Kenneth Alton Willingham, Royce Rhodes, Raymond Rhodes, Daniel Willingham and Sam Willingham.

Kenneth was born in Waco, Texas September 13, 1952, to J.R. and Elizabeth Ann ‘Sligh’ Willingham. They preceded him in death. 

Kenneth loved his Church and his Church family, and keeping his room organized. Kenny loved the Special Olympics each year. He was always excited to play in the Olympic games and fellowship with other kids like himself. Kenny loved doing special music at Church by playing his harmonica, bongo drums, tambourine and singing his favorite songs. 

We would also like to acknowledge Sarah McGuire for her love and care of Kenny. She was a faithful caregiver, worked over and beyond her duties with many hours of overtime helping her Nana and Papa take care of Kenny. Sarah wore out a washing machine by washing Kennys' clothing, pads and bedding from morning to night. Sarah is a special person and loved by all her family.

Survivors include his sisters: Delane Clifton, Lou Ella McCorkle, brothers: Bill Willingham and wife Sherry, Jack Willingham and wife Neena, and TJ Willingham and wife Sandra, Niece and caregiver Sarah McGuire, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
