Kurt Svante Fogelberg, IV

Kurt Svante Fogelberg, IV, age 18, of Cooper, Texas passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2021.

Visitation will be on Thursday, April 1, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Delta Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be on Friday, April 2, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cooper High School Football Field with Bryce Jester officiating.  Pallbearers will be: Tristan Weathers, Collin McGuire, Jaxson McGuire, Chance Thornton, Ethan Colley, Rodney Bridges, Dillon Springfield, Jake Miller, Pierce Rogers and Brennen Hicks.  Honorary Pallbearers will be the class of 2020. Interment will be at Oaklawn Cemetery.

Kurt was born to Kurt Svante Fogelberg III and to Jennifer Land Fogelberg on August 23, 2002 in Sulphur Springs, Texas. He was a 2020 graduate of Cooper High School and a member of the Cooper High School Athletics. Kurt enjoyed buddy baseball with Kelci Phipps. He enjoyed playing video games and loved spending time with close friends and his family.  Kurt had a competitive and loving spirit.  He never met a stranger. If you knew him, he loved you.

Kurt attended college at the Paris Junior College pursuing a degree in education and coaching. He worked as a pool technician and for Red Bull.

He was preceded in death by his great grandfather, Ted Ellis and his grandfather, Jack Land.

Survivors include his parents, Kurt and Jennifer Fogelberg of Cooper, Texas; brothers, Jackson Fogelberg and Kinsler Fogelberg both of Cooper; grandparents, Kurt and Stacy Fogelberg of Honey Grove, Texas, Betty Land of Cooper, Texas; great grandmother, Vicki Ellis of Honey Grove; long time sweetheart, Kenzi Phipps of Honey Grove.
