Letha Geneva (Abston) Vaughn 88, of Cooper, Texas passed away Sunday February 16, 2025.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday February 22, 2025, at Delta Funeral Home Chapel, Brother Johnny Witherspoon will be officiating, interment to follow at Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends and family from 5-7 p.m. Friday February 21, 2025, at Delta Funeral Home.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Ty Young, Allen Smith, Joshua Scantlen, Victor Alvarez, Jonathan Owens, and Geicody Vaughn.

Letha was born in Paris, Texas on August 3, 1936, to Ernest and Medie Bell (Jaco) Abston. They preceded her in death as well as her brother Billy Abston and wife JoAnn, daughter Cathy Smith, grandson Jason Owens, great-great grandson Ayden Duckworth, and niece Cristy Lemon.

Letha loved to play baseball as a young woman, later she loved to sew and drinking her coffee.

Survivors include daughter Teresa Robinson, son Denny M. Vaughn, daughters Nancy Stephenson and husband Walter, and Audrey Vaughn, eleven grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, fifteen great- great grandchildren, sister Glenda Lemon and husband Claud, numerous nieces and nephews.
