Linda Diane Fitzgerald, age 73, of Cooper, Texas, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2023, in Greenville, Texas.

Memorial Service scheduled for Saturday, July 22, 2023, 11a.m at New Journey Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Linda was born on February 12, 1950, in Cooper, Texas to Roy B. and Hazel Ozell (Meadlin) Steward.  She married Thurman Fitzgerald on March 18, 1974, in Lubbock, Texas.  Linda was a retired warranty clerk and she worked for Lively Old Cadillac GMC. She was a member of New Hope Church, Cumberland Presbyterian Church and CPW Ladies group.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thurman Fitzgerald and a grandson, Brandon Fried; sister, Catherine Wilson and brother, James Roy Steward.

Survivors include her daughter, Lori Fried of Longview, Texas; grandchildren, Alexandria “AJ” Fried, Jared Fried, and Tessa Fried all of Longview, Texas. Great grandchild, Harper Fried Bennett and two brothers, Gary Steward and Charlie Steward both of Cooper, Texas.
