Linda Ellen Wright Preas, 80, of Cooper, Texas passed away Thursday June 5, 2025.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday June 8, 2025, at Hickory Grove Cemetery with Brother T.J. Willingham officiating. Visitation is scheduled for 1-2 p.m. Sunday June 8, 2025, at Delta Funeral Home.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Joseph Preas, Kyle Thompson, Wade Thompson, Frankie Elliott, Eric Clark, and Brayden Morris.

Linda Ellen was born in Paris, Texas on October 8, 1944, to Elwood and Doris Lee (Toon) Wright. She was preceded in death by her father Elwood Wright in WWII and parents Doris Lee and Wendell Alley, brother Denis Alley, and as well as her husband Jody Preas.

Linda Ellen was a Registered Nurse. She graduated from PJC in 1976, as a RN and obtained her BSN from UT of Tyler. Had maintained a current RN license up until her death.

Survivors include her daughters: Beverly Jo Sloan and husband Roddy, Andrea Preas, Nocona Clark and husband John, grandchildren: Joseph Preas, Kyle Thompson, Wade Thompson, Eric Clark, and Elli Hayes, great- grandchildren Canter Preas, Brayden Morris, Hannah Thompson, Kaden Thompson, Abigail Carter, Amelia Thompson, Ryder Clark, Zoey Hayes, and Carter Hayes, brothers and sisters: Ted Alley, Rebecca Alley, Sheila Cherry, and Kevin Alley.
