Lola Nell Morgan

Lola Nell Morgan, 94, of Cooper, Texas, passed away Friday September 15, 2023.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 11: a.m. Saturday September 23, 2023, at Delta Funeral Home Chapel, Pastor Brenda Williams will officiate, with interment to follow at Oaklawn cemetery. Family will receive friends and family from 5-7 p.m. Friday September 22, 2023.

Serving as Pallbearers: Tim Gregory, Bobby Irvin, LC Britt, Curtis Wright, Billy Jack Silman, Sam Falls, and Jeter Cherry.

Lola Nell was born in Cooper, Texas on June 7, 1929, to William and Jennie (Fisher) Morgan. They preceded her in death as well as her brothers Ernest L. (Joe) Morgan, G.W. (Bill) Morgan, Richard C. (Dick) Morgan and her sister Willie Mae (Morgan) McDonald.

Lola Nell was a member of First United Methodist Church she joined in 1938, She retired from Delta Bank as Vice President in 1989, and went to work for Delta Logistics the same year.

Survivors include Jim and Barbara Maris niece of Arlington, Texas, Tom and Nancy Kelly niece of Axtell, Texas.
