Obituary

Lynda Dewey Goldsmith 77 of Cooper passed away Sunday March 27, 2022.

Memorial services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Friday April 1, 2022 at the Calvary Baptist Church, Pastor Eddie Sutton will officiate.

Lynda was born July 16, 1944 in Oklahoma City to Edward Clayton Dewey and Ann Roberta Wheeler, they have preceded her in death.

She is survived by three sons; Eugene Goldsmith, Chock Goldsmith and Glen Goldsmith, a daughter; Barbara Sutton, eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, two brothers; Drake Dewey and Clay Dewey; two sisters Lauranne BIllups and Rena Williams.

Lynda married Gene Goldsmith on December 8, 1961 in Ft. Worth, TX, she and Gene worked together before retirement as long haul truckers, and she previously owned a restaurant, babysat kids and sold Avon.
