Margaret Fisk Obituary
Margaret Catherine Fisk, 93, of Ladonia passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2013 in Greenville.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, March 22, 2013 at the First Baptist Church in Ladonia. Sam Bush will be officiating. Interment will follow at the Ladonia Cemetery under the direction of the Delta Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church.
Mrs. Fisk was born in Gober, TX on November 14, 1919, the daughter of Vernon Claude Shive and Mary Melvina Shive. She was married to Elvin Levi Fisk, and he preceded her in death. Mrs. Fisk had worked several years as a grocery store manager, and a bookkeeper. She had been a resident of Ladonia since 1943, was a member of the First Baptist Church, and a member of the Commerce Chapter of the Eastern Star. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a son: Vernon L. Fisk, a brother: Edward C. Shive, and a sister: Joan Thomas.
She is survived by a son: Elvin L. Fisk of Tioga, a daughter: Catherine V. Parks of Tyler, a brother: Vernon C. Shive of Wolfe City, two sisters: Mary Jim Clements of Greenville, and Frances Guerrero of Dallas, seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
