Marilyn McCombs Roberts

 Marilyn McCombs Roberts passed away on December 21, 2021, at Legends Healthcare in Greenville, TX.

She was born on September 25, 1943, the daughter of John McCombs and Carrie Adell Conway McCombs. She married Charles Roberts on April 11, 1970.

Mary, as she was known to her family, graduated from Cooper High School in 1961 and then attended East Texas State Teachers College in Commerce. She worked for Atlantic Richfield and retired from TXU in Dallas.

She is survived by her husband, daughter, Kari Roberts of Greenville; sisters and brothers-in-law OLinda and Eddie Wheeler and Jonette and Ronnie Almon of Klondike; nieces and nephews-in-law, Margie and Marc Scott of Greenville and Hillary and Shawn Murray of Charleston, and great niece Conlee Murray; Aunts, Betty Buchanan of Texarkana and Marie Chaddock of Kansas City and many cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Carolyn McCombs; grandparents, Lillie Belle and Tobe McCombs and Katy and T.J. Conway.

Graveside services will be held on December 23, 2021, at the Old Klondike Cemetery at 2:00 pm under the direction of Delta Funeral Home. Reverend Bryce Jester will officiate.  In lieu of flowers, if desired, please make donations to the American Cancer Society.
