Mary Lou Wells

Mary Lou Wells, 91, of Cooper, Texas, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2020 in Ft. Worth, TX.

She was born December 16, 1929 in Paris, Texas to Howard and Dale Beazley Wells.

She married Gerald Williams and he preceded her in death in May of 2000.  She was also preceded in death by her sister Polly Wells.

Survivors include a son; Jerry Williams of Lindale, daughter; Merry Ressler of Paris.  Four grandchildren; Gene” Tres” Andrew III, of Lubbock, Chris Andrews of Colorado, Grant Ressler of Bellingham, WA and John Williams of Seattle, WA.  Several great grandchildren and a Great-Great grandchild.  

Mrs. Wells was an associate History Professor at East Texas State University, Commerce. 

Memorial service will follow at a later date. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Paris, TX.
